Saw the Orb last night in Philadelphia - absolutelyfuckingbrilliant.
Alex was walking around beforehand sportin' his Chelsea FC shirt and a
braided ponytail giving big smiles but noone recognized him. The show
itself was quite mind blowing - expect to hear plenty of Ren and Stimpy
(including the Happy Happy Joy Joy song intro), theme to Bonanza, Singing
In the Rain, some US TV commercials, Word Up by Cameo, and more samples
than you can shake a stick at. Orb tracks covered Adventures, UFOrb,
Orbvs, Pomme Fritz, FFWD, and a host of stuff I hadn't heard
before. Well worth looking out for...
