Gescom II was released somewhile back. I had to mail order mine, none of my
local shops had it,and I'm in the UK. It's a 2-tracker and almost as good as
the 1st volume

I posted a review of this on IDM some while back, I too was not exactly
impressed with the remixes, though the Jovan Blade mix stands OK as a tough
garage/house track if you try and forget what it actually is.
As for the Remix-Retro "series", #2 was Nitro Deluxe, the Brutal House, also
from Cutting Records originally. I don't have it. Some consider this to be
kinda electro, but don't expect any other electro. I think #1 must be the
unreleased remixes of "Strings of Life" which I've read about but may well
never see the light of day other than promos (I haven't heard this either)
The rest of the "retro" series is simply Network re-releasing its back catalog
(and that includes some ancient Kool Kat releases) at a premium on clear vinyl.
hope that helps,
J
