The following was recently asked on the ambient list: From: Ek09@aol.com Date: Mon, 8 May 1995 20:00:35 -0400 Subject: Re: #1(2) Ambient-Digest V1 #300 When respondants refer to an earlier note in the Digest the original note they are referring to is reproduced and each line is preceeded by the "<" symbol. I assume there is some way in which this duplication of the original message can be made without retyping the whole message or without duplicating the entire volume of the digest. How is it done? I don't know either!!! and am in the same boat, it's sinking...help! Did you get any answers? I am trying to figue out the same thing, as I am on digest forms of idm and ambient lists, but can't figure out how to reply to seperate people within the digest, without copying and pasting (and this only lets you do it one screen at a time-big pain in the ass!) Your having same trouble, eh? :-} Any solutions come forward...? I'm also trying to figure out how to save seperate parts of digests that are more than one screen into a folder to later refer to (without copying and pasting one screen at a time, and sending myself the result as email, to THEN save in a folder-Argh!) ? Help!!! Anyone...? I'm using "pine" by the way, but then are not most people...? Clueless, with hundreds of replies to do- -Thad scottk@falcon.cc.ukans.edu
