This sounds *very* tastey, but I was wondering, do you think this
type of thing could be played in a DJ set for dance-power, (like I know
only SOME Beaumont Hannant can be)? ... or is this more of strictly
"armchair listening" IDM type stuff from him this time around? Acid
techno? Hmmmm...
I have seen/heard Claude Young spin some Beaumont Hannant into a serious
Detroit-style techno set, right next to Jeff Mills, Dan Bell, and
Plastikman... any DJ's out here care to point me to the more "D is for
DJ-friendly" Hannant releases? (Forgive me but I'm not a huge Autechre
fan, I didn't go nuts for Incunabula or however you spell it.) :)
thanks
