Apologies for dragging the Aphex thread out, cos I know its becoming a bit of a bore, but the "interview" with Mr Twin in the latest MixMag is well worth a read, (if I didn't have a life I would transcribe the whole thing and mail it to the list ;) ). However, it opens with: Possibility one: He is a genius, the MDMA Mozart. (hhhmmmmm) Possibility two: He is a complete bullshit artist with a big gob (that's mouth for you merkans) and a few wild ideas. Possibility three: He is just having a laugh, living music, getting stoned, buying a tank and not having to get a proper job. Maybe we could all vote on it? For what its worth, I go with No. 3. In the interview he talks about buying a scanner, and elsewhere I read of a conversation between Mixmaster Morris and Robin Rimbaud AKA Scanner, that he's scanned and taped, and will be appearing on the new Caustic Window LP. Sounds all too probable. I'll go along with that. Lots of love Tim One of the least common things in the world today is: common sense.
