Dark Side of the Moog 2
Solitaire
Xangadix
A Day in the Park
Dark Side of the Moog 2 - Pete Namlook and Klaus Schulze - PK 08/99
A Saucerful of Ambience 1.01.94
similar to their first CD...floaty ambience that kicks into a killer
trance track at the end.
Solitaire - David Moufang - PS 08/63
1 In/Out 15.58
2 Mad Mood 7.22
3 Damaskus - Dakar 9.03
4 Indian Mantra 4.57
5 P.M. 15.33
6 Sergio Leone's Wet Dream 9.46
This CD features David Moufang of Deep Space Network. Light, floaty and
full of light beats. Dreamy ambient crack.
Xangadix - Pino & Wildjamin - PS 08/65
1. Xangadix 7.21
2. Some Filter for Namlook 11.49
3. A.A. Generation 3.22
4. Goro 5.35
5. System Update 9.43
6. Waveform 11.04
7. Analog Silence 10.07
This one is the stormer...a brillant combination of trance and ambient
from Pino & Wildjamin, the Basalt Bros, which is the other half of the
Whole Traffic. This has to be the best FAX CD I've picked up yet...my
count's up to 20. Buy, buy, buy, before this gem is gone. It's
impressive how good they sound without Dr. Atmo in this one...I love the
synths they use..they're so trancey.
A Day in the Park - Dr. Atmo, Pino & Wildjamin
1. Talk 16.47
2. Park 21.06
3. Walk 28.35
This is the mellower version of Xangadix...laid back ambient trance. If
you're familiar with their work as Whole Traffic, you'll snag this one
up too.
I may sound a little bias..but I found all of these to be really good.
If you're a FAX nut you should pick up all four...but you have to
choose, pick in this order:
1. Xangadix *mindblowin*
2. Solitaire *awesome*
3. A Day in the Park
4. A Dark Side of the Moog 2
