Hello all Just a couple of quick queries. Did we eventually decide what the music from the Pirrelli was? There's a reasonably new Levi ad on here, don't know if it's been shown elsewhere, that has a rather nice track on it. Does anyone have any ideas? The ad is about the watch pocket, which some girl (whom you don't see 'til the end) uses to put a condom in. Starts off with a view from a truck driving around. Thanks in advance. Lots of love Tim One of the least common things in the world today is: common sense.

So who *did* do the music for that ad? I'm not sure about in the States, but the Hyundai Accent commercials have pretty nice tunes for backing. Sort of faster acid sounds. jay ______________________________________________________________________________ Jason W. I've also seen a Firestone tire commercial (or some tire company) with similar music.. I've only seen it a couple times, but I remember it being fast as well, and it definitely was a unique soundtrack for a commercial. Come to think of it, the entire commercial was pretty cool. They didn't even advertise anything to do with tires until the end. -Merrick Brown- -mvbrown@tenet.edu- -Vertigo-

I finally managed to see this ad on the Discover channel. I've seen it about 3 or 4 times, and I'm convinced it's the man, rich james... altho it could very well be someone masquerading as richard, i seriously doubt they're doing it on anything less than a fully capable sampler or one of richard's personal noise making devices. -- guyjr@wc240.residence.gatech.edu a.k.a., Guy Elden Jr.

It's off Caustic Window Joyrex J9 - "afx dub", I believe. While I'm on this, are both sides of this disc to be played at 45? The samples in "indus... garage beats" (first track on the other side) sound like they should be played at 33. Just curious... -- ((>a u r i c l e<))

Hi Tim, I haven't a clu about the Pirelli ad but I can help you out on the Levi ad. The background track is called Novelty Waves and is by Biosphere. It's out on 12" & cd in britain so it shouldn't be too hard to find a copy. (Wouldn't you just love a girl like that!!) Derek
