Yep, it's phenomenal. The 1991 Reload tracks are bone-crunching Trance; full-on Aphex stylee, yet done 6 months to a year before "Digeridoo". If these suckers were really written/recorded in 1991 it's a wonder that they (as Reload) didn't become as famous as Richard did ... As for the more recent stuff, it's mostly great, too. The Link "Antacid" mix is amazing. I must find this single somehow ... I think, IMNSHO, that the Jedi Knights track is the weakest. I hate to be an Old Fart (again (-: ) and go against the grain, but all this back-to-cheesy-drumbeats-and-vocorders Electro revival bit has *got* to go (-: I'm into looking towards the future, not to regurgitating the past. I'm not nostalgic for Pop Locking and Break Dancing. I guess since I was already in my mid-20's when that stuff was going down, I couldn't relate ... ('Course, by 1982/1983 my tri-color "Black Power Edition" Puma Clydes were already 7+ years old ... you want *real* nostalgia? Tell me who Clyde was ... and Kent Williams, you keep quiet (-: ) - Greg

I first heard digeridoo back in the days of 5th form... which would make it erm... late 1990... the pair started off at the same point, richard had a head start in terms of equipment though... Tom and Mark were later with there Reload stuff... ... I'm into looking towards the future, not to regurgitating the past. I'm not ... nostalgic for Pop Locking and Break Dancing. It seems to be the Europeans that have kept things going over here... saw a couple of underground breakdance competitions last week on video - about 1 to 2 years old... there is another gathering soon I think - but again in Europe... Just got the Theory of Evolution comp and Mu-Ziq vs the Auters. Both very cool. Well worth getting. Track 13 of the Theory of Evolution comp (Link - Amazon Amenity (Chameleon remix)) is surprisingly good. Is this what they call ambient jungle or something ?! Normally I stay well away from anything even remotely jungle tinged but this track is really good. I've also just spotted that Artcore compilation of Ambient Jungle - Is this worth gettings. Are the tracks as good as the one of Theory of Evo ... ?? On before I came out: Aphex Twin - I care because you do -- __ _____ _____ _____ __| | | ___| | ___| | ___| email: jeftow@dcs.warwick.ac.uk | | | | ___| | ___| | ___| web : http://www.dcs.warwick.ac.uk/~jeftow/ \_____/ |_____| |__| |__|
