Maybe I missed the review of this record - but what does it sound like? I have not heard much from anyone on this release - except on IDM, On Sat, 8 Apr 1995, Teep wrote:

I for one cannot. I think they are history. Whether you dig on Spanners or not (I sort of hate it, personally), there is hardly any question that something tight and structured has become disjointed and sort of random. Maybe this makes things more enjoyable for some people; I just see the end of the road, like The Chameleons or Echo and the Bunnymen, right before they split, you could just sense things breaking apart. (Sorry I can't think of any idm for an example.) Thinking positive: What comes out of the split may add up to something twice as good, three times as good. Can someone please split the band into its component parts for me? What exactly is *missing* from the new Plaid? Was Plaid ever all three of the members? einexile, who agrees that Bytes is about as good as it comes "You must be careful: There is a red dog, and there is a black dog." Death in June (not idm either)
