I hear the FFWD ness too, lots of Fehlmann, some parts sounding a ton like Sun Electric _30.7.94_. Big deep bassy hits. Ive listened to it all once so far, and it sounds like the sum of all the things they've done, I'll have to listen more, but so far I think I'm fairly pleased. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Yeah, I like the new Orb as well but it hasn't blown me away or anything. Maybe it's going to take repeated listens. I actually found the SunElectric 30.7.94 more immediately enjoyable on the first few listens than the new Orb. In fact I enjoyed 30.7.94 more than any of the previous Sun Electric material...they should do more live albums..... Tony

Pretty much the same for me - not as instant as stuff like "Towers of Dub" - less hooky than their older stuff. Slug Dub is really great though!
