Anybody out there picked up the latest Influx disc (circa '94, I forget the name of it). I saw it for 16 bucks and was wondering if this is a steal or a complete ripoff. If you could, please include a comparison so I have more to go on than "this one really kicks ass!" That way I can tell if it's good or not, relative to your good/bad taste. hardeeharhar. What you're referring to is the Unique LP on Sapho, a rising high sublabel & the LP is one of the best in my collection. I am not sure how the CD is packaged, but I got the 2LP. My absolute favorite is 'Love Song'-very acidy-trancey & absolutely gorgeous to mix with. I also like 'Monday', 'Braineater(Cyndrilical Mix)', and 'Unique'. If you do pick it up, I also highly recommend 'Atmospherics' on Rising High-which, of course is very ambient/techno. 'E' me, and I'll give you more info. Check out, also...
