I *really* like Headz and Dope on Plastic is pretty good too. I once asked for comments on Royalties Overdue and good two opinions: one said it was much better than Headz, the other that Headz was better. I decided not to pick up on it. I did buy Strictly Turntablized on Mo Wax, its just ok, not as good as Headz, but it does go nicely when you want a hip-hop instrumental going in the background when friends drop by. Someone recommended some compilations by Dorado, but by the time I got to the record shop they were gone. Might want to take a shot at 9 Deadly Venoms - its pretty damn good too, the music is in this funky vein with dialog culled from various movies like Eastwood's High Plains Drifter. Always sells out at my record shop whenever it comes in. "toke `em up, toke `em up" - Dope on Plastic

Just to provide an alternate opinion..._Nine Deadly Venoms_ is going to take me a while to get used to. It's not as subtle as a lot of other stuff out there and some of it could even be seen as a bit cheesy. Don't get me wrong, songs like 'Shaolin Buddah Finger' and 'Goal' are classics, but I would say listen before you buy... - Matthew

I saw the track "Hubba-Hubba" on some top 20 dance lists and the English music mag Select gave it a perfect rating.

Nine Deadly Venoms didn't really do it for me....it sounded kind of bland and not very well produced....However an oldy by Depth Charge-Silverfox, will always rank way high in my best tracks of all time category, that fucker is well produced with some serious bowel-rupturing bass....and that rap is bad ass.... Also - I'm looking for the original CD release - with the bonus disk. I heard that the mastering was better on this release. Willing to trade of pay cash for it. Thanks. On Sun, 19 Mar 1995, Mark Bowen wrote:
