my take on weirs is that appreciation follows after a whole lot more
then 1 listen. this is a 'subtle' album and it took me this long to
come to point where i can't decide which cut i want to play most often.
it goes without saying that weirs comes off all wrong on a first listen.
as was c., i was downright disappointed my first time through.
(that full side track earns the sad title of 'a waste') (imoears)
wholistically it's full of many unique drum sequences and slow deep
evolving jazzy synth grooves. not flawless and not for everyone, but
certainly for the patient minded.
