anyone know about this, Sounds of Heaven by Dr. Atmo and someone from Tuxedo Moon. One track is called "god's picture in the internet". I saw it at arons records (but didn't buy it) filed under industrial noise and wierd stuff. I thought I saw the name Dr. Atmo before on this list. Also there was a CD called Beyond by synthesia (or something like that), a blurb in the store called it "techno trance". What does this sound like?

Yes, it's on FAX. The title of the project is Uvoii and the title is Sound of Heaven. The artists are Dr. Atmo and Blaine L. Reininger of Tuxedo Moon along with I.N.G.O and Michael Pagenstedt.

Dr. Atmo is a regular on FAX. He's probably best known for Silence and Escape, both projects with Pete Namlook. "Soundtrack of My Dreams" starts out with a violin and Blaine reading poetry and eventually a heavy phat beat comes out of nowhere and gets things going with percussive beat and warm ethnic elements. The poetry reading is a little annoying, perhaps moreso on "God's Picture in the Internet" but the music is so good and is such a nice change from all the typical ambient or IDM that I'm willing to overlook it. Check out the artwork - it's a sculpture of a person whose entire body is made up of lots of different musical instruments. ___ / / / / / / _ __/ (_/__/ / (__ (__ ___/
