Re: all the ISDN hunting going on If you are in/near San Francisco, the Tower Records at Market & Castro had a lot (more than 20, plus I'm not sure how many in the back room :-). This is as of last week, in their little Trance section. Cool little black CD sleeve. Just FYI, -H-

On a lark, during lunch I went by the Tower in Concord, and it has 17 copies too. So go by your local Tower and check... they may have bought a ton of them. Call them, they might order them for you. -H-

i saw one of these copies (tower on market has like 40) and a sticker has been put on the front stating that it's the future sound of london, and astralwerks'name is on it. ..i'm assuming that it's the copies that AWerks imported themselves...so everyone should be seeing this in their shops soon... mike <<mikebee@freenet.scri.fsu.edu <<mike@organic.com

Yeah, I'm starting to get a little skeptical of this "Only 10000 copies printed" claim. Between two Tower outlets in the bay area (out of many, and one of them in the extreme burbs) I've seen approximately 100 copies. I bought mine for $12 at the market store. I find it hard to believe that these two stores have ~1% of all copies made on display at any given time with who knows how many in the back room or already sold. Not to mention all the other stores around here that have them... If they have similar numbers of copies as these two Towers, the Bay Area must have 40-50% of ALL copies of ISDN printed for US release. Either there is more than 10k copies, or there was a colossal marketing fuckup at Tower causing all their copies to pool in a few stores. Also funny is Tower Mail Order's complete cluelessness about the fact that they are selling the CD at all. If you want a copy, keep pestering them about how the SF area stores have hordes of the CD for $12-$16. Should be fun :-) Later, -H-
