What is the exchange rate these days? I think you guys are still better off, over there in USA. I saw Air Liquide's "Increasing Difficulty of Concentration" for 15 quid today! But I picked up F.U.S.E.'s 93 album("...dimensions"?) for 9 quid, and Beaumont Hannant's "Tastes and Textures 2" for 6. This console doesn't seem to have a "pound" sign! I only joined IDM on Tuesday, I tried looking through the most recent archives, but this computer wouldn't download 5megabytes, or however large the archive is. Anyway, I'm looking forward to lots of good techno chat. BTW, of the 10000 FSOL ISDNs released in Britain, I'm fairly sure that 7k were CDs, and 3k were on vinyl. So there you go, Rob.

Last I heard (December), it cost $1.52 to buy a British Pound Sterling. When it was really bad a few months ago, it had gone up to around $1.79 for a BPS. I don't understand what the big deal was and why everyone started raising their prices recently. Some places just went up a little bit and some not at all. Some other stores never brought their prices back down. A couple of years ago, it had gone up to $2 for every pound and this didn't happen to the prices back then. It feels like you're getting ripped off when you exchange money and suddenly get very little back. Same goes for suddenly having to pay extra money for an import. I wonder how much the distributors really raised their prices and for how long... also how guilty these distributors are of the problem too. ___ / / / / / / _ __/ (_/__/ / (__ (__ ___/
