Robert I think you and I need to talk a lot more :) I want to give everybody the sitch as far as I know it in case this doesn't go thru. Right now all these people want to come to LA. Most of them just for plane faire plus a couple bucks. Global Communications, Muziq and Black Dog started it. But plane faire for just these guys and their stuff is in the thousands. Robert has the line on Richie Hawtin who will also come out for plane faire (I think) if the above guys are coming. When I talked to Morris last night after his KUCI performance he said he'd be interested in coming back if that was happening, especially since he's a big fan of Black Dog. Jonah (Space Time Continuum) will come to LA from SF almost any time for plane faire and especially if all the above will be there. I don't know how Autechre came into this too but Robert probably knows. I'd guess it's because of the first 3. So where we sit right now is all the above will be there if negotioations with the people with the money to fly them out works out. I think it's pretty likely that it will happen, but a similar gig has fallen thru before. Hopefully somebody realizes that there's much interested in the above lineup. On a side note, most of all the above would be performing in SF the weekend after they're in LA. whew! I think that takes care of most of the rumor control. Joachim
