Comatonse Recordings announces its second release Comatonse.001: "Anti-Instrumentations" by Erik Dahl [the guy who ported C-sound to the PowerMac]. This limited release contains three tracks of 100% computer generated experimental electronics. No traditional electronic instruments were used (or anything else for that matter). But for all you analogue lovers, never fear - it's only available on audiophile vinyl! ;) These are the same tracks which have gotten frequent play in my own dj sets, as well as my collaborative performances with Tetsu Inoue. Passive-agressive a-structural beatless insanity! Truely the bleeding edge in electronic sound. Further info and AIFF sound edits can be found at the Comatonse web site: http://www2.med.cornell.edu/~terremt/subdir/comatonse.html As with our previous release Comatonse.000 (which has sold out! thanks!), copies are available to netters for the special price of $5.00, plus $2.90 next day USPS shipping ($5.00 shipping for international orders - U.S. $ only). Checks payable to: "Comatonse Recordings." Mail to: Terre Thaemlitz Comatonse Recordings 309 E. 108 St., Suite 3A New York, NY 10029 BTW: We changed pressing plants for this release, because the last release's pressing was fat but not as good as I'd have liked. I did my homework, and this vinyl is TRUELY kick-ass audiophile quality. 100% "virgin" vinyl (non-recycled)... direct metal mastering... clean... groovy! :) Terre Thaemlitz terremt@med.cornell.edu http://www2.med.cornell.edu/~terremt/Thaemlitz.html
