Yes Yes Yes! Just got the CD5 of LFO "Tied Up" This is great! It's been a long wait, and whether the term "worth it" is appropriate I don't know, but this release is NOT a disappointment to me. The tough 110bpm main mix is a real killer. They kicked off their live session at The Leisure Lounge on May 25th with this one - it sounded stunning then and it sounds stunning now. The beats are industrial strength, syncopated rhythms bounce you around the room and delicate samples tease your ears. The remixes are almost like different tracks. The Electro mix is just that, the acid mix is just that, the spiritualized version is a 9 minute drone, which is either searingly beautiful or headache-inducing depending on your frame of mind, and there is one other mix which simply struck me as being the "trad" LFO sound. Now I've got to find the 2 12"s to see how many more mixes have been "creatively marketed" J ^
