Here is an updated discography for +8 Records. From what I heard, the last one needed to be updated. This is up to date as of late October. Thanks very much to Carla at Plus 8 Records for sending me this list. And a big thank you to Krista Noreen for picking it up for me...and I didn't even ask for it :) Thanks! I would be very thankful for any additions or corrections. I think I may need some clarification on the last few entries. ___________________________________________________________________________ Plus 8 Records Discography By Jason W. My mate has a copy of this and its licensed to Champion Records (who hell they?) in the UK. It turned up quite recently in a Virgin Megastore, so I guess its a re-pressing of some kind and not some sort of bootleg. It appears to be exactly the same as the original but it has 'Licensed to Champion' on it and the LP labels have Champion written all over them. Champion were a prolific dance label back in about 86-90 - they are still around but not so big. They released quite a few +8 trax here in the UK - Kenny Larkin, Cybersonik etc., on backward cut coloured vinyl too! Otherwise they also released mainly house stuff like Raze "Break For Love" and lots of the early Todd Terry trax like Royal House and Black Riot, and even Hip-Hop stuff like Jazzy Jeff "Girls ain't nothin' but trouble" J ^ __ ____ _____ ____ __ __ ___ _____ ____ / / / _ \ /_ _/ / /) ) / /_/ / / , \ / /_ / /) ) /_/ /_/ /_/ /_/ /_/|_| \____/ /____/ /_/__ /_/|_|
