Well, seeing as I co-own the label and you all are pretty much the only folks I know who listen to this kind of stuff, I figure I should tell you about it. =) Ahem... VIS-1001 Seofon _Causal_Collapse_ Experimental hard ambient sort of dance stuff. Roughly industrial in bits.... Also includes a "song"! We've gotten lots of good response on it from the advance copies we've given out. Much of the same material is available on vinyl in slightly different form: _Access_e.p._ (VIS-103) and _Process_e.p._ (VIS-108). The latter includes "Timeloose", the only Seofon track that's on vinyl but not on the album, and (unfortunately) also my favorite. VIS-1002 Various _In_Sight_Volume_1_ A collection of stuff from our vinyl catalog. Not really much stuff on here that I'd recommend for you guys, as much of it is more strictly dance stuff. The ATOI Mystery School track is definitely interesting, tho. VIS-1003 _Aonox_ by Joey Beltram No, Beltram hasn't "gone ambient" but this is definitely _not_ 4-on-the- floor dance stuff. Dark, edgy, tweaky ambient beats. Reminds me of Locust in a way, though rather harder. Very coherent album. SR 9466 Ambient Temple of Imagination: Mystery School Unique collages of drones, beats, and spoken word with a focus on occult mysticism. Very texturally oriented stuff, but by no means background music. Definitely something interesting and unusual. As you can tell by the catalog number, we did this as a co-release with Silent Records. So that's the scoop. I don't want to insult your intelligence by hyping these albums (aside from the fact that it's my job), but I do personally recommend them. If anyone wants any more info, please send me a private message, and if anyone wants to look for these CDs, we're distributed by Watts, Silent/PulseSoniq, Edie, and City Hall. Cheerio! --Jeff Kihn (Visible Records)
