His name is Chris Youdell (sp?). His outfit is Analogue Systems. He is notorious for scooping up all of the good gear and plopping it down in the UK. A good case in point was a PPG Wave 2.3 with a Waveterm B that came up in June (back when I was in LA). The guy wanted $2000.00 for it. I knew that he could get more for it, and I offered him $2250.00, Chris got involved and I dropped out after he and another greedhead had pushed it above 3K. Really sick. As of late there has been a bit of a "drying up" of the supply. Maybe we have hit a point where the majority of the closets and basements have been purged of of hidden treasures, and we are now down to people who have some idea as to thier worth. Don't get me wrong, Chris is a really nice guy on a personal level, and I have pitched mud in his eye before,especially when my friend who sold me the giant Oberheim 8 voice + 8 voice expansion cabnet refused to let him have it, no matter what he bid. That was funny. His words to Chris were "You are a jerk, and you are the reason that I can't buy gear in this town anymore... so piss off". Anyhow. I've said it before. Just say no to 303 madness. Get a nice Pro One instead. The sound of that thing alone is enough to tear the paint off of a studio wall. Bruce
