Get away with? I don't think this thread would be happening if he did... assuming "get away with" means "people not noticing." I don't know if it is a testament to synths per se but presets!! I guess my slight dismay evidences some guilt/disdain for personal use of presets. It is sorta pathetic though...I used to change a few parameters by + or - one step, then rename the patch, and say "There! No longer preset!" It's psychological...

Fok, I wasn't crazy about it either. Planet X's Base 10 summed it up well when it was written that excitement and anticipation often ruins a release (or lessens its impact)... However "Azimuth" is a sonic chia pet!
