Sure. I feel that lots of the presets on our two synths (both ensoniq, one VFX and one ESQ-1) are quite good, depending (of course) on how they are used. As an example, Intermix uses the ESQ-1 "icepop" preset one one of the songs on Phaze Two and it sounds great. Simple modifications to presets is often enough to produce great sounding patches, and putting any simple moog-style preset through a guitar flanger pedal can be tres cool :-) -H-
