From: tntmusic@halcyon.halcyon.com (Kevin J. O'Conner dba Tinty Music) Date: Mon, 26 Sep 1994 14:38:27 -0700 Subject: Never Mind The Distortion The new Nav Katze remix CD, entitled "Never Mind The Distortion", should be out now in Japan. I suspect most of you won't be familiar with this Japanese duo, but neither are most Japanese record buyers. In fact, ordinarily this group would have absolutely no connection with this list. What makes this particular disc of possible interest to this group is the people who participated in the remixes. Here is the full track listing: 1. Nobody home (Ultramarine mix - I'm assuming it's Ultramarine, anyway, as there appears to be a misprint in the Japanese magazine from which this information comes) 2. Ziggy (Aphex Twin mix) 3. Never not (Black Dog mix #1) 4. Crazy dream (Retro 313 future memory mix) 5. Change (Aphex Twin mix) 6. More than a feeling (Black Dog mix #2) (yes, this is a remake of the Boston song, the original mix of which is quite good) 7. Wild horse (global mix communication) My copy of this album should be arriving sometime next week, at which time I'll be able to say something about what these remixes actually sound like. Kevin J.
