So what exactly is the deal with this album? I asked someone who went to Manhattan today to pick up the vinyl for me at Rebel Rebel records. I get it this afternoon and, to my surprise, its on GPR. Wasn't it supposed to be on Warp? I seem to remember a post or two about limited edition DJ edition vinyl having completely different tracks from the CD, etc, etc. So can anyone clear this up? For the record, my GPR double vinyl (gorgeous packaging and a free poster, to boot) has the following tracks: a1 - santec a2 - molten some more b3 - lannamarou b4 - mistuk b5 - bleak c6 - humane c7 - sudafelm d8 - 65063-3 d9 - precious d10 - harsh BTW, the music is absolutely brilliant. For the most part its not as dancefloor friendly as _Basic Data Manipulation Vol. 2_, but it seems even more sophisticated. Still, most of the tracks do have that superb Hannant-esque percussion and lots of incredible sounds. After one listen I love it and, except for a little pressing defect at the start of side d (I might exchange it for a new copy), its idm-alicious. Matthew Lehrer lehrerm@voyager.bxscience.edu
