Roy Badami muttered something about... :: ::Actually, it was a bit of a braino. If I'd been thinking, I'd have ::said "the vinyl release of the album". Of course, as someone else on ::this list pointed out, the original meaning of "album" is a collection ::of 78's. (An album, being too long to fit on a single disc, came as a ::pack of several 78's.) And I actually have an album of 78's; two or three if I remember correctly. They're collections of old 'standards' from, most likely, the 1940s. Wouldn't it be cool to take this music and mix it into a mix of, oh say, breakbeat? I think the breaks being about twice the speed of these 'standards' would fit well and be a very odd mix indeed. =) practice random acts of kindness steven j. white and aragorn@alpha1.csd.uwm.edu senseless acts of beauty finger for PGP 2.6 public key
