One of them is from Dusseldorf (home of Kraftwerk), and the other from Koln/Cologne (home of Can). They cite both bands, but particularly Can, as influences. They have an album out this week in the UK, called "Vulvaland", which is more of the same (i.e. fantastic). CD has an extra track and two hidden tracks (one of which is similar to "Quoth"), and the vinyl version (initially, at least) has a 4-track remix 12" with it. As Mohsen says, they mix acid/ambient sounds with distorted guitars and random noise - tunes you can whistle *and* weird sounds, which can't be bad. Andrew.
