I don't think there have been any reviews as Silence 2 has been difficult
to find. The original release came out around this time last year on FAX
and the release was pretty limited. There were two tracks on one 12" and a
full length CD. I couldn't find it anywhere and I tried ordering it from a
number of places.
One day I found the 12" and I didn't like it very much. I heard "Sweet
Angels" with the samples of little German children speaking throughout and
didn't like it. I forgot what the track on the other side was but I was
disappointed. I was expecting more of the ethnic sound found on the first
Silence.
I think Rising High was supposed to reissue it but because of problems, a
new sister label called "World Ambient" was formed. The first release was
"The Artist's Cut of Definitive Ambient Compilation 2" and Silence 2 came
next. I haven't seen either of these yet.
