Anna Homler is a performance artist from Southern California. Some friends of mine in a couple of now-defunct SoCal bands (Factory, Angel of the Odd) were on a couple of records put out by a woman named Cecelia +/-; she has her own label called Aztlan Records. Anna Homler appears on both of these records. (One, a compilation called "Awaken", might still be lying around the cut-out bins of your local off-beat record store ...) None of the other records that Anna appears on could be called IDM by any stretch of the imagination ... I haven't got the vaguest idea what this "Morphology" release is that you all are talking about, nor do I know how Anna got involved in it (is there an implication that Alex and Thrash should know her because of this?). But that's the 411 on Anna. I see random surfacings of her in the L.A. Weekly club guide from time to time. FYI, - Greg
