I do mathematical tilings for fun (nerd!) and have made some
tiles that make what look like knotted cords when put together.
If this were done with the CD cover, one could lay out
mutiple copies of the cover with different rotational
orientations and get all kinds of interesting inter-twinings
(especially those stuck with lots of copies ;-) )
