greetings from a lurker -
i have been so moved by this album that i feel it is an obligation to mention
it once again to a list that considers itself to be interested in intelligent
dance music.
i buy in excess of fifty discs a year, and this has to be one of the best
discs that that i've bought in the last five years.
one of the most consistently delicious that i've EVER bought, i'd venture...
every song is essential.
such ethereal waves of transcendent production
intertwined with rich, lush, spectral hooks
surfing the one-eyed dubgroove swells.
very electronic and spacious.
reverb from a primo lexicon or sony,
obviously ddd,
sublime wavestation,
totally fresh drum sounds.
this is the thompson twins with a new name, so expect pop sensibility.
bpm generally around 100.
anyone involved in
cannabis
and
intelligent electronic dance music
should get this for their collection.
enjoy the bliss.

the capricorn top 5:
5. "don't expect me to help you fake it."
4. "work with your passion and i'll work with mine."
3. "don't expect me to just connect the dots."
2. "tell me something i don't know."
1. "at this point things get a little hazy"
as long as the music is loud enough we won't hear the world falling apart.
