Just read this in iD magazine No.129, June 94: Ambient experimentalist musicians Autechre take computer-generated videos a step in the right direction with their new Basscadet video, made by artists David Slade and Jeff Scott-Hunter. Instead of vague trippy images the graphics are based on the concept of nanospace: the microscopic world of atoms and molecules. The video is part of a 40 minute animated film 'Motion' to be released on June 13 by Warp, to accompany their compilation Artificial Intelligence 2. There are also articles on Underworld, and the the demise of the record business (as music is downloaded direct from servers to PCs which will "Fuck all the big companies"). Jeff
