Hi everyone,
I saw this new compilation called "Ambient Senses - The Vision" yesterday, on
Jumpin' and Pumpin' (and you thought they'd died!). It's got some good stuff on
it, like "Ageispolis" by Aphex Twin, "Towers of Dub" by the Orb, "O'Locco" by
Sun Electric, "Minky Starshine" (?) by Seefeel, one of the limited tracks from
Luke Slater's 1st LP (X-Tront vol 2), and more. Sounds good but I've already got
most of the tracks. Oh, and it's got an "ambient dub" track from RDJ's Joyrex 9,
but I don't know that one.
I might be working in Ambient Soho in a month's time so I'll be able to keep you up to date with all the new promos. What with that and the record label I'll
certainly be pretty busy!
By the way, Jon (Drukman), Dream are interested in this new album of yours.
Please send us a tape of it!
I saw Vapourspace at Megatripolis last week. They were OK, had a "live" type of
sound. Pretty dancy, 909 was clattering away. Not bad at all! However Chantal's
set in the ambient room left much to be desired.
