hey... this is kinda off the subject, but has anyone heard steve reich's "come out" [recorded in the mid-60's]... he uses the same sort of trick that orbital uses with that sample on the voice of a guy talking about being beaten by the police... and even earlier than that he did something similar with the voice of a pentacostal preacher on "it's gonna rain" --- that gets quite beautiful and chaotic towards the end when there are eight different loops all slowly getting out of sync... steve reich's cool... and in case any fan of the orb doesn't know, "little fluffy clouds" samples a truly beautiful steve reich/ pat methany song whose name escapes me at the moment [it's on the end of the "different trains" cd he did with kronos quartet at any rate]...
