The Mo`Wax label strikes me as being pretty impressive. You can`t say "it`s
not strictly idm" because it`s not strictly anything! I`ve heard DJ Shadow`s
last release in ambient rooms and I definitely mean to play it. I haven`t
heard the new release from Le Funk Mob but I`ll probably get it soon.
What does everyone else think of Mo`Wax? And what is D.O.P.`s "Electronic
Funk" Ep on Guerilla like? Any Good? Stasis` "Circuit Funk" On Peacefrog is
wicked, but I`d steer clear of the "Planetary Funk" EPs because they`re
anything but...
Shawn, what do you think of "Space is the Place" by Sun Ra? I`m thinking of
buying it, it`s a toss-up between that, "Interstellar Space" by John
Coltrane and the new Ornette Coleman box-set.
btw everyone, did you know that "Space Is The Place" by the Irresistible
Force takes loads of ideas from the same track by Sun Ra? s`true!
