Well, since you went ahead and posted (like I wanted to), I'll reply... Yes, has it been confirmed it's him? There was a "suicide" note left, too. If it was, then I wish him well in the afterlife! Kurt seemed to be a wounded soul with extreme amounts of emotion energy showing through in his music. Even though he was a huge part of Nirvana's success, it seemed like he felt his life had no purpose and/or direction... According to the report on Entertainment Tonight, he wanted his next album to be entitled something like "I hate myself, I want to die"... His bipolar manic-depressive state did not cloud the messages he gave in his music...rather I think it gave an enlightening perspective on life for all who paid attention. "All alone is all we are." We don't know what we have till it's gone, but atleast he left behind some nice sounds and some songs to think about...and this makes him immortal. -kc
