First off, I know that James Bernard is responsible for influx (whose album is okay) and cybertrax, but I'm almost positive that he is not related to syzygy. Atmospherics sounds very similar to Pete Namlook's brand of ambience, which would be rather hollow, droning synths with melodys drifting in and out as well as the occasional tribal percussion, vocal loop or low bassline. Sometimes it works, and it gets pretty interesting, but it didn't really grab my attention. Kind of cheesy vocal samples about losing your mind, etc. just aren't that great anymore. It may sound better after repeated listenings but I think that you may as well listen to Air II for a more mature and developed sound. Jonathan eabu751@orion.oac.uci.edu
