I was actually into "new age" stuff before any techno, and several albums which I bought back then have turned out to be favorites, though I actually didn't like them much at the time. One was Harold Budd and Brian o's _The_Pearl_, which is quite wonderful but also quite irrelevant. Another was _Transfer_Station_Blue_ by Michael Shrieve, Kevin Shrieve, and the now much discussed Klaus Schultze. Some of it is sort of light and jazzy, but the first track is a total 10-minute-plus trance-out which reminds me of Air Liquide's "Tanz der lemminge 2" (actually, vice versa). I havem't heard anything by Klaus solo so I can't say how _Transfer_ is in relation, but...there ya go. --Seofon
