Often times we can see a piano covering this function. When i listen to jazz i can hear diff instruments on diff songs anchoring the melody. A listen to Mingus will easily proove that the bass can be soloed quite eloquently. But for the most part i hav to agree. another work that would illustrate this purpose is "Bitches Brew". %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Peace, Guido For all your R&D needs... travalen@kcmetro.cc.mo.us ~~ ~ ~ ~ ~home of The Private Conspiracy (Shhhh!)~ ~ ~ ~ ~~ %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%the Deep Thought Council%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% ------ Forwarded message ends here ------ %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Peace, Guido For all your R&D needs... travalen@kcmetro.cc.mo.us ~~ ~ ~ ~ ~home of The Private Conspiracy (Shhhh!)~ ~ ~ ~ ~~ %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%the Deep Thought Council%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
