That comp. has been around for several years now -- from what I've
seen, Instinct features it's new artist on compilation disks before it
releases separate albums for them. I know that Irr. Force, Human Mesh
Dance, Michal Kandel, and YAP had albums released shortly after Chill Out!
came out.
I think there are two new comps out on Instinct of similar nature
too -- a mixture of older known artists and new ones who have signed with
Instinct and are about to release albums. Reminds me oof the 'Nettwerk
Samplers' I used to get from Nettwerk that would package newer, more
experimental material with older stuff with the idea of exposing the
listener to new music by selling them on something they knew.
