Which begs another question. I know the didj comes from the Australian pygmies in the Outback. But what is it made out of? Some sort of wood, but what, specifically? And I've heard that it's just a hollow tube. Is that right? No special features? I made a rainstick a couple of years ago... quite a task, but a lot of fun and it turned out great. This old timer showed me how. Would it be possible to *make* a didj? Thanks for any info... I'm sure I'm not the only one...so please post it! :-) Don donpierr@netcom.com
