I'd like to know why this guy ((BROTHER ALPHABET jah10@.Ra.MsState.Edu)) is so anti-drug. Personal experience? Morals? Just curious... Jon has a point about being open-minded and about respect towards alternative lifestyles. Many any drugs are legal in other countries. Just because they're outlawed in America doesn't mean it's right. Alcohol is one of the WORSE drugs, and it's LEGAL! SHEESH!! Why should we be forced to accept that just because prior generations think it's "socially acceptable." And I've read propaganda (books) on how marijuana (and other drugs) cause criminal tendencies...this is utter BULLSHIT. How the hell can one pull off a crime when they're stoned? They should legalize it cause it would fit in with alcohol in the way that it keeps people suppressed. The reasons behind this...well that's another story. According to a netter's research, the War on Drugs is sponsored by the Alcohol & Tobacco Commission (or whatever that group is called). Certain people don't want the market crowded. money money money! A good hit of acid would wake them up... Oh, and a BIG reason why LSD is outlawed is because the GOVERNMENT, the UNITED STATES government, made it a dangerous drug by giving it to unsuspecting people. This of course caused bad repercussions for the drug! LSD has been known to have many positive uses, and in the right set & setting (as the adopted phrases describes) means a lot. Set & setting applies to alcohol too, but all it seems to do is drop social inhibitions to reveale the id, instead of the intellect (as LSD may). Getting drunk alone is signs of a depressed alcoholic...this has no solution but to SOBER UP! (BTW, LSD has been used with 50% success in curing alcoholics, lots of times in one single treatment!) Tripping can have a cathartic effect...impossible with alcohol. Anyway...this isn't alt.drugs or alt.psychoactives, so I'm sorry if I've revised the fire...but, I'm a pyromaniac. :)

This reminds me of an old article I read. Moby said his favorite key is E-minor. Make of it what you will...I do think Morris has alternate realities in mind. :) -djkc
