Recently i have been intrested in the ongoing discussion about the lack of
feeling and emotion in idm. We have seen many posts discussing
philosophically why certain music moves us and other music does not.
Darshan and I both agreed the the infinite beauty of the song "Belfast" by
Orbital, or according to Kathleen "Stella" by Jam and Spoon, embodies the
emotion and feeling that we wish to experience with each listen. My
question to all idm'rs is "What moves you?" "What specific song is in
your opinion the essence of all that is positive and wonderful about idm?"
I think reading a list of our "dream team" would be wonderful
