B12 actually started out (still is?) as a record label. Musicology was an 'artist' on this label. The first ep was called the Musicology Ep and had the seminal _Metropolis_ on it. This caused a stir in Sheffield, was my most sought after track for months and the demand at WARP could well be the reason why 'B12' did stuff for WARP. My guess is B12 wasn't too successful as a label, it was pretty obscure - and expensive it was charged at import prices. Like Rephlex is now!!!! Grrrr! Anyway, as most of the artists on B12 were in fact B12 the 'group' that's what they became. Speculation over. The B12 record label releases are well worth hunting down. I have three. They're on nice colured vinyl and have lot's of groovy track writing on them. Music's good too! "Beware Future Bass Seven!" greg 3 0 3
