I saw someone on this list asking for programs to produce this kind
of image for either cd covers or posters (rave flyers ?) Anyway, I came
accross this, so I thought i'd post it here. Sorry if this is a waste
of space on this list, and you can pour hot oil on me if you wish ;-)
Cheers,
Mark

If you've been looking for a way to create 3-d pictures with your
Amiga (and you're not too concerned about making people's eyes work
funny, or really blocky pictures that aren't as nice as the nifty
pixel versions of these 3-d generators), mk3d is for you.
I found an MS-DOS version of mk3d, with source code, and re-wrote it
for the Amiga. Since I wrote it in E, the thing is less than half the
size of the MS-DOS version, and Amiga-ized (although I didn't bother
to make an Intuition interface... sorry).
You may find it at any aminet site (I hope) in the aminet/text/misc
directory as mk3d.lha.
Currently, there is one little bug (easily fixed) that keeps the
SIMPLE parameter from working (no matter how to try to use the
parameter, it always selects parameter '3'.. the default). I will be
posting an update that will fix that (I already fixed it, but I want
to add another feature before I upload the next version).
Here's an example of its output:

(To view this, try making two of the Xs above the stereogram blend
into one text while looking 'beyond' the stereogram. Then allow your
eye lens to focus on the texts, making a clear image. You should then
be able to see a planet below).
Hope you like the program.
