Picked up two new singles today. The new Black Dog EP on Rising High,
"Parasight", is cool with some unusually (being BD) acidic tracks. The drum
programming is excellent, as always. The new Underworld single "Spikee" /
"Dogman Go Woof" is totally incredible. 10/10, easily. Even better than
"Rez".
I saw Bjork and Ultramarine in concert a couple of days ago. Ultramarine
didn't exactly tear the house down with an unforgettable show, but I didn't
really expect them to either. They put a lot of effort into playing as much
as possible live and consequently the only thing we got to see was three guys
working intensely behind their keyboards and mixers. Plus a sax player who
smiled all the time (ooh, not good ;-))
Bjork was amazing. But her music isn't really idm, so I'll spare you that
review.
