I think it is safe to say in Intelligent Dance Music that some bands (or
some band's pieces) are going to rock harder. Most of the reason that I am
so *totally* into this new music is that it holds great promise for the
future. Still some of the artists are more nimble than others. For instance
the breakdown on D-scape is incredible. On the other hand, most of black
dog's music is so nerdy, it doesn't flow. The reason I listen to IDM is
because it "has no history" whereas nearly everything else does. Well,
maybe things like Tangerine Dream or Kraftwerk but those bands are not even
20 years old yet.

The dreams I dream are of the future. Intangible yet romantic all the same.
