Future Sound Of London were on MTV Europe earlier today. Unbelievably
cool, of course. The short film seemed inspired by KLF's "Waiting" and
had Gary and Brian walking around in the woods with microphones, taping
sounds. Brian had a walking-stick that he pointed at the camera
while he uttered facts about life and the universe now and then. Both
the audio and the visuals were run through filters to make the whole
thing look very surrealistic. Text information about FSOL and Amorphous
Adrogynous rolled over the screen in short intervals. They also had the
characteristic woman voice talking in the beginning that they always use
in their radio shows ("this is a broadcast from The Future Sound Of London").
The music was "Cascade" + a song called "Vit" that I hadn't heard before.
The whole thing will be repeated tonight at 11.30CET, so you Europeans
who missed it, tune in!
