Hi all Is Squarepusher: Selection Sixteen a remix album? For those of you who have Squarepusher: Selection Sixteen, Skam Compilation 0161 and BoC: Music has the Right to Children. On the latest Squarepusher release, Selection Sixteen, listen to track4, "Dedicated Loop" then listen to the Jega track, "Whore", on the Skam Compilation 0161. Granted the tracks are not the same, but the resemblance between the tracks is uncanny. Next, listen to track 5, "Tomorrow World" from the Squarepusher album then listen to "bocuma" and "roygbiv" on Music has the Right to Children. Again, it seems Tom Jenkinson decided to borrow an amalgamation of the two melodies represented in the BoC tracks. One more observation: parts of Schizm Track #1 sound as if they were sampled from Aphex Twin's ...I Care Because You Do. Anybody else notice the foregoing? Or was this album some sort of remix project? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
